Itaru Yazawa
Co-Founder: Mr. Yazawa is an expert in the HPLC field, having developed a variety of the world's most popular HPLC instrumentation. Mr. Yazawa is currently the Vice-President of Imtakt Corporation, where he leads R&D, manufacturing, and sales. Before co-founding Imtakt Corporation and Imtakt USA, Mr. Yazawa developed HPLC columns for YMC, contributed to the development of HPLC instrumentation for Shimadzu, and was a long time HPLC user at Kanebo.
Andrew Herman
Co-Founder: Mr. Herman currently serves as the President of Imtakt USA. Prior to co-founding Imtakt USA, Mr. Herman served as a senior executive at Advertising.com, a successful Internet marketing company, where he lead multiple early stage capital raises. He has also lead 10 completed merger & acquisitions while working working at Danaher Corporation (parent company of Applied Biosystems, Eksigent, Leica Microsystems, Radiometer, etc.) , worked as an investment banker for J.P. Morgan, and has served as an advisor to several start-ups. Mr. Herman received his MBA from Columbia University.
Michael Robbins
Co-Founder: Before founding Imtakt USA, Mr. Robbins worked at Kyoto Research Park, a high-technology incubator and Imtakt Corporation's birth place. While at the Kyoto Research Park, Mr. Robbins consulted to and incubated numerous start-ups and technology ventures. Mr. Robbins received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and currently is a partner at Bain Consulting.
