Why do your columns get such higher resolution and lower back pressure?
A number of breakthroughs in our manufacturing process and column design process contribute to our increased performance, such as: proprietary packing technology, ultra-pure silica (developed using proprietary techniques), unique end-capping, and tri-functional bonding.
Why do your columns deliver incredibly consistent results both column-to-column and batch-to-batch?
The secret to our columns consistency lies in their design and in our manufacturing process. Column develoment is uniquely targeted to deliver consistent product every time.
Do you provide sample or demo columns?
We generally have stopped offering sample or demo columns, as interest and demand have become quite heavy. However, we do ship for next day delivery upon receiving an order and can offer 30-day trials to first time users.
At what temperature can I use the column?
The recommended range of column temperature is between 15-65°C.
What pH range is appropriate for your columns?
The recommended pH range for our columns is 2-9 pH. However, after high alkali pH condition analyses, you will increase the column’s life by changing the eluent to Storing Solvent.
What pressure should I use with the columns?
All of our columns withstand pressure up to 20MPA, 200 Bar, or 2900 PSI
How long does delivery time take once I have placed an order?
More than 95% of orders are filled the day that order is placed and arrive the next business day. However, in the event of heavy demand or unusual product size about 5% of our orders arrive in 3-5 business days after ordering.
What is the recommended flow rate for Cadenza and Unison?
Recommended Flow rates for our 3 micron columns:
ID mL/min
1 0.03-0.2
2 0.1-0.6
3 0.2-1.0
4.6 0.5-2.0
10 2.0-4.0
Recommended Flow rates for our 5 micron columns:
ID mL/min
1 0.03-0.3
2 0.1-0.8
3 0.2-1.2
4.6 0.5-3.0
10 2.0-8.0
20 9.0-20.0
How should the column be stored?
The column should be stored at room temperature with either 60% acetonitrile or 70% methanol. The end-plugs should be tightly screwed on. The column should not be allowed to dry out.
